Tube Map Deluxe
This application provides up to the minute service details on all London Underground tube lines, Dockland Light Rail, and Overground services. It has the latest official tube map which can be viewed in the Landscape or Portrait orientation, and a station finder. The tube map can be zoomed in and out using a pinching motion. The application comes with a Journey planner feature which can give you the fastest route (in time) between two stations with the fewest interchanges. The journey planner will warn you if there are any problems on your best route. It recognizes Waterloo and City closures (late nights and Sundays) and at these times will automatically suggest alternate routes. It has live departure boards for Tube, DLR, and river services. The departure boards are refreshed every 30 seconds or you can shake to update.
