Official application of National Rail Enquiries that provides complete journey planning for journeys across the UK National Rail network and live departure information for all National Rail stations in the UK along with platform information (where available). When searching for trains, the application tells about any delays or cancellation to your chosen trains and gives the option to find alternative journeys. Multiple stations can be added to the application’s home screen for one touch access to their live departures. You can simply choose a station in “Live Departures and Arrivals “and hit “Save” to create a new favorite. The application can automatically find your nearest stations or you can select one of your recently used stations and then find directions via the iPhone’s Maps application. A “Next Train Home” feature finds your nearest stations and plans your journey home. You can also see live train progress.
